Our Mission

We are committed to providing the best patient care by ensuring that we use the most current treatment procedures available in dental and periodontal care. With Dr. Akef’s frequent attendance to conferences and seminars that promote new technologies and new treatments, we have the resources to provide patients with the quality dental care services they need.

Appointments

Your appointment is reserved specially for you. Any cancellation of surgical or hygiene appointments require a three business-day advance notice. Although we realize that appointments may have to be cancelled due to unexpected events, we require your cooperation nonetheless. If you miss an appointment without providing us with sufficient notice, a fee will be charged to your account.

Payment Options & Insurance Policies

We make every effort to provide affordable, first-class and customized treatment just for your budget! We provide a breakdown of all pertinent fees included in your treatment plan and inform you of the full costs before we begin your treatment. Payment must be made in full at the office when the service is provided.

We offer several payment options. We accept payments by cash, checks, Visa, American Express, MasterCard and Discover credit cards. Another financing option we offer is CareCredit.  The features of this option are $0 down payment and low monthly payments.

For Patients with Insurance

If you provide us with all the required information, we will bill most insurance providers.  All deductibles and co-payments are payable at the time of the service.  If you have secondary insurance, we bill most of them for your reimbursement. Payments billed to insurance companies which are not paid within 60 days of billing, become your responsibility. All fees due must be paid in full.

Surgery Fees

All deductibles, co-payments, and payments for non-covered procedures are due at the time the service is provided.

Prior approval may be required from your insurance provider.

Non-covered Services

You will be required to pay in full any payments for the services your insurance provider did not pay for, or refused to pay for, at the time the services are provided.
